It's Becoming too Much (Mike)

"Goodnight." He said softly before following Macy out.

"Now its time to tuck you into bed, Mister." She teased.

"I was kidding." He said, "I barely sleep at all anymore."

"I know. That's why I'm tucking you in early."

"how about, no." He teased

"Uh yes." She pointed towards the bedroom. "March."

"Fine." He walked into the bedroom.

"It's great when you cooperate, Michael." She grinned.

Mike grinned, "I try."

"Also, I need to speak to you about something." Macy climbed into bed and sat indian style.

Mike sat beside her on the bed, "Okay."

"I know you might not like this but...I'm thinking about retiring. "

Mike stared at her, shocked, "Why?"

She sighed, "I know we said that we would stick it out till the end together but it's becoming too much. I'm tired, the twins are becoming to old to keep bringing them along with us, and I still want at least one more child. I can't do all that when I'm on the road."

Mike sighed, "Are you absolutely sure that's what you want? Because once it's done, there's no going back."

"No..." She looked down. "Thats why I wanted to speak to you."

"So you aren't really sure about it?" Mike asked, "Whatever you decide to do, I'll support you. I'm not going to tell you to just go ahead with it or force you to continue if you don't want to."

"You're not really helping in the help department. I'm just afraid of doing something I'll regret."

"I honestly don't know what to tell you. You just need to think things over. It's not really my choice to make. Of course I'd hate to see you go, but it isn't my decision."

Macy lowered her head, running her fingers through her head
"Okay.." She laid back on the bed.

Mike laid back with her, "You alright?"

"No..." She stared at the ceiling.

Mike kissed her cheek, "What's wrong?"

She looked over at him. "I don't know what to do."

"Just calm down. You don't have to decide immediately. I just want you to be happy."
