Barely Alive

lucky had been driving home from work at the hospital. Which was where she was going to be again later that night. Lucky had worked a long shift, she was so tired. She felt herself nodding in and out of sleep. Lucky had dozed off and ran a red light. The other person couldn't stop and crashed right into the passenger side of her car. The force of the other car caused Lucky's to flip. The impact caused a few of her left side ribs to break, puncturing her lung. She smashed her face off the steering wheel, breaking her nose. She had a cut above her left eye from the window smashing, her face was unrecognizable. She blacked out and paramedics rushed her to the hospital. They treated her and called the first person in her emergency contacts, Wade. Lucky laid asleep in her hospital room, sedated, but stable. She would be waking up at any moment now. Little did she know the surprise she was in for when she did wake up.
