It Never Ends

"If she hit on you first John like your wife claims why didn't you fire her right then and there?" Lindsay asked.

"I didn't take it as flirting, I thought she was just joking around and being friendly." John said.

"Would you say your wife has a jealous streak in her when it comes to other women?"

"She shows concern like any wife would in her position but no I don't think she's a jealous, nasty person who jumps whenever someone makes a flirtatious comment like you are implying." John said.

"I thought something was suspicious with the way Cassie acted, but I trust John's judgement. He wanted to give the girl an opportunity and a break, so I left it alone." Elle said.

Lindsay nodded as she wrote down a few notes.

"Why do you think someone would make such claims about you if there wasn't some fact behind them?"

"She's mad I wouldn't give her what she wanted so she thought she could destroy me and my reputation if she claimed I raped her." John said.

"She obviously wanted John and to be apart of his life, when that didn't happen she tried to destroy us." Elle added.

Lindsay nodded, satisified with their answers.

"Let's move on to the kids. How much time to you both really spend with them?"

"As much time as we possibly can. We're both busy, but I take them with me when I travel as much as I can without interrupting school, same goes with John. Their grandparents help us as well." Elle replied.

"It seems you both are more concerned with doing more with your careers than taking care of your familes. Elle, you for one were already busy enough being a fashion designer with multiple stores and now you choose to be a singer as well? Where exactly do the kids actually fit in?"

"We're both following our dreams but our kids always come first. No matter what." John said.

"What John said. My kids are our number one priority no matter what. I'm not saying it is easy, but we make it work. Our kids are the most important people in our lives, they come before any show." Elle said.

"So if your kids ever asked you to stay home with them more would you do it? Both of you?"

"It wouldn't be easy, maybe not possible but we would try." John said.

"Like I said, we do what we can. But we'd definitely try to make sure they're with family if we can't be there." Elle said.

"Don't you think as their mother you should be with your kids rather than relying on family members most of the time to take care of them?"

"I don't rely on family members. They help us from time to time." Elle corrected.

"How much time exactly?" Lindsay asked.

"Like we before, we spend as much time as we can with our kids. Our family is there for us when we need them but my and Elle's children don't spend every second with them." John said.

"If it could be that way, it would. But our kids are old enough now to understand that mommy and daddy work sometimes that keeps us away." Elle replied. "But we try our hardest to have it where at least one of us is home with the kids if it's possible."

"Don't you ever worry about something happening while you're not there? You could be in the middle of a concert or show and one of your kids could be in the emergency room."

"I try not to think about things like that. But if something like that was to occur, I know my children are in good hands until I am able to be there." Elle said.

"And if you're not able to get there until a few days to a week later would you wait that time instead of immediately going to your child?"

"I think we've made it clear our kids come first. We'd get there as quickly as possible, even if that means rescheduling our work." Elle said.

Lindsay just nodded before she made a couple more quick notes.

"Well I think you too have made it quite clear that you both are innocent of anything Cassie has said about you. Anything else you would both like to add?"

"I want to say I hope Cassie stops making fake allegations and would move on with her like and leave all of us alone." John said.

Elle nodded. "What John said. We just want to live our lives with our kids as normal as possible, without any unnecessary lives our drama affecting our family."

Lindsay nodded then smiled as she stood up.

"Thank you for your time, we'll work hard on getting the video up soon and on behalf of everyone here we wish you both luck in your family's wishes to live peaceful lives."

"Thank you, we're happy we were able to come in and allow everyone to know what really is going on, the truth." John sid.

"We really do appreciate you taking the time to hear our side. Thank you so much, we look forward to the interview." Elle smiled before walking out of the room.

John followed Elle out of the room then let out a sigh of relief.

"Well that wasn't too bad. Some tough questions but nothing I didn't expect." John said.

"Same here. I think we handled everything that was asked very well." Elle said.

"Me too. Soon we will be drama free and hopefully stay that way for a while." John said.
