Courtney grabbed the bottle of aspirin pills from the corner cabinet in the kitchen. She grabbed a cup as well and filled it with water before she took a sip of it then put a pill in her mouth. Once she swallowed it she poured the rest of of the water into the sink. She hated this situation so much. Never does she ever want to see her children in pain and seeing Allie become so crushed over Jason killed Courtney. Even though it hurt her the pain was much worse for Allie and Courtney knew she needed to be there for her.

So with that on her mind she took a deep breath in and walked back into the living room. When Courtney returned she saw Allie crying so she walked over to her and hugged her.

"I'm sorry I upset you." Allie said as Courtney hugged her.

"I'm fine, it was just a headache. Nothing a pill can't fix." Courtney said as she rubbed Allie's back.

Allie laid her head on Courtney's shoulder, "I don't know what to do...I told him that we couldn't date anymore then we kissed and..this happened."

"Like I said before you need to take a break, a real break, and stay away from him for a while." Courtney said.

"Thing about it was I wasn't trying to look for him, I just found him in the park. He looked miserable and I tried to be a bitch and ignore him but I'm not that kind of girl anymore. Then he started talking to me about his problems and me being a sucker because he's going through exactly what I went through. I couldn't just leave him alone, I tried to but he was going through something at the time. And I know he would have done the same for me." Allie said.

"You do realize sex can't fix a person's problems right?" Courtney asked.

"Even though you may not have been looking for it, it happened and until you can figure out what is going on with yours and his relationship then you need to avoid him at all costs."

"I know it doesn't! That's why I'm so upset with myself." Allie said.

"I know I do but...its so hard. I like being able to talk to him despite his douchebag times."

"Allie, you really are just going to continue screwing with your head and heart if you don't give yourself a break from him. I'm not just saying this because I don't like him, I just hate what he keeps doing to you. I'm sick of seeing you hurt." Courtney said.

Allie knew deep down Courtney was right. She was always right, most of the time. But with him being her main source of writing, she couldn't let him go. But she needed to stop crying herself to sleep, and stop with her bad choices and heartaches. "I'm going to stat away."

As much as Allie didn't want to stop seeing Jason, she knew in her heart that she had to. He hurt her more than once, more than three times...she had to grow strong in order to not fall for him and give up.

Allie nodded, "I know he's not right for me right now...but I have to gain self control again."
