A Huge Shock (Ortons)

"Okay Mr. Orton." Allie said jokingly.

"Great..know you've taken their side." Randy said.

"Mr. Orton." Jake said.

"I'm still calling him daddy." Kayla said stubbornly.

"I'm not taking any sides, Mr. Orton." Allie said with a goofy grin.

"None of you are allowed to call me that." Randy said.

"Mr. Orton." Jake said.

Kayla thought for a second then grinned.

"Mr. Orton." Kayla said.

"Mr. Orton is getting really cranky guys." Allie told Jake and Kayla with that same goofy grin.

"Call me that again and all three of you will be rounded." Randy said.

"What's grounded mean?" Jake asked.

"Mommy! Daddy's being mean and cranky." Kayla said.

"What else is new?" Courtney asked.

Allie is quiet while taking everything in. She smiles to her new family, "Daddy?"

"See, Allie doesn't think I'm mean and cranky." Randy said.

"That's because I don't know you that well. You could be." Allie said with a smirk.

"Her opinion will change after an hour." Courtney said.

"Maybe."

"It won't." Randy said confidently.

"Oh it will trust me." Courtney said as she walked into the living room and lied Max down in the playpen to sleep on a blanket.

Allie smiled at Randy and Courtney, "No fighting, lets see what happens." Allie said.

Courtney nodded.

"She's saying that cause she's on my side." Randy said.

"I'm on mommy's side Mr. Orton." Jake said.

"I'm not on anyones side. Geez. Mr. and Mrs. Orton need to chill out." Allie said.

"I'm fine, he's the one that makes a huge deal out of everything." Courtney said.

"I don't know." Randy said.

Allie shook her head and sighed before sqeezing her doll.

"Allie I'll show you to your room." Courtney said.
