Pitching Ideas

Skyla ran down the hall of the record company. She was already half an hour late because Jeff forgot to fill the car up. Skyla turned the corner and smacked into the door.

"Do Not Enter when light is red?" Skyla said to herself holding her head. The light flashed off and Skyla quickly scrambled inside.

"OK that's a rap!" the producer said opening the door for Molly.
"Thanks Ryan, sorry I ran over time." Molly replied taking off the head phones. Molly noticed Skyla standing in the doorway.

"Sorry I'm late Ryan, Jeff forgot to fill the car so I had to stop-" Skyla stopped on seeing Molly.
"Hi, I'm Skyla." she smiled holding out her hand.

"Skyla? Oh my God! Skye, it's me! Molly?" Molly said recognising Skyla.

"Molly? Molly Star? Oh my God it's been so long!" Skyla said hugging her. "I can't believe it how've you been?"

"I'm excellent. Well I gotta go, Adam needs picking up." Molly hugged her and left.

Marie showed up and said hey molls whose this?

"I'm Skyla, nice to meet you" she shook Marie's hand "I'm just about to start my session" Skyla looked behind her "Greg, where the Hell's Marvin?" she yelled. Greg shrugged his shoulders and began tuning Skyla's guitar.

Nice to meet you skyla maybe we can talk later. i have to go get ready wanna come with?

"I'm sorry, I'd love to but I'm about to start my session."

well ill see ya later skyla.

"Yeah see you later." Skyla hugged Marie and made her way to where Greg was with her guitar. "And we are ready!" Marvin said walking through the back door. Skyla began singing as Greg sat at the piano.

Marie stayed there and heard skyla beautiful voice when she finished she started to clap and hugged her and said good voice

"Thanks, I inherited it off my mom, she had a lovely singing voice."

wow. my dad couldnt sing to save his life and his laugh was just creepy

"Haha, I know the feeling. When my dad sings he sings loudly and very off key."

Stephh opened the door and walked in with Hailey. "Sweetie, you gonna stay and watch mommy sing?" Hailey nodded and took hold of Stephh's hand again. "Hiya Skye!" Stephh yelled to her.

"Hiya Stephh, hey Hailey!" Skyla yelled back.

Hailey ran down to Skyla and hugged her "Hi Aunty Skye!" she yelled. Stephh joined them.

"Hiya sweetie" Skyla said hugging her back "Sup Stephh?" Skyla asked hugging her best friend.

Stephh looked over at Marie "Oh my God Marie I'm so sorry!"

"Anyway, Stephh you here to do the new recording?" Skyla asked.

"Yeah, I've not had much practise so if I suck...sorry."
