Solitary Drinking

"Well I sure had a good laugh watching you do it. You looked kind of cute while doing it too." Candace said with a giggle.

"Thank you" He said.

"So did you really come here to drink because you think the world is going to end or do you have another problem?" Candace asked.

"No" he said.

"Are you sure? I'm a pretty good listener." Candace said.

"Yeah, I'm sure" Cody said.

"I always feel better after a couple of drinks"

Candace nodded then heard one of her favorite songs come on. She looked at Cody.

"Want to dance? It will be fun." Candace said with a smile.

"SUre.... I'm mean, I don't care either way"

Candace laughed.

"Wow you sure love you're negative act that you can't stop it for a second." Candace joked.

"I guess not" he said

Candace laughed before she grabbed Cody and dragged him over to the dance floor before she started dancing.

Cody danced, meagerly, having few dance steps he new"

Candace looked at Cody as she moved her hips to the beat of the music.

"I'm guessing you don't dance a lot." Candace said.

"Nope, I'm not a dancer" he said.

"Well maybe I could help you." Candace suggested.

"I hope you can" he said, "I look like an idiot out here"

Candace chuckled.

"Not really, you just need a little...ow!" Candace yelled when Cody accidentally stepped on her toes.

"Or a lot of help." Candace said.

Cody gave a sorry expression her way, "Sorry" he said.

Cody sighed, "Maybe I should just go back to the bar"

Candace took Cody's hand when he started to walk away.

"You don't have to, I can help you now." Candace said with a smile.

"You better not... if you want to keep the feeling in your toes" Cody said chuckling.

Candace giggled.

"It's okay, I don't mind putting my toes on line to help you." Candace said.

"Well thank you kind woman" Cody said with a chuckle

"You're very welcome." Candace said.

She heard a slow song come on then she put her hands on Cody's shoulders.

"Okay put your hands on my waist." Candace said.

"Okay" Cody said, doing as told.

Candace told Cody what to do for a couple minutes then smiled.

"An you said you couldn't dance." Candace said.
