Helping Out A Friend

"Trust me you're not. I wouldn't have invited you to stay here if it wasn't alright for you to be here." John said.

"You aren't intruding." Elle said. "John's never home, so I wouldn't mind the extra company." Elle chuckled. "It's what friends are for, you have no idea how much my friends helped me when I was going through similar situations. They helped a lot, we're here to help you."

"Wow..." Macy said in shock. "Thanks you two."

"No need to thank us. I just hope all of this works out for you." Elle said.

"And I hope Mike stops being a douche." John said.

"Well that too, but it takes time." Elle said.

"John, we all know that's going to happen." Macy said, shaking your head.

"It's going to take a long time."

"I'm just saying...I didn't like it when he started treating you like crap." John said.

Macy rolled her eyes and shook her head. "He usually isn't like that."

"Still, no one deserves to get treated like that." Elle said.

"You're right, he always feels that he has to be first in everything." Macy said with a sigh.

"He needs to put his ego to the side." Elle said.

"Hn, no kidding." Macy rolled her eyes.

"The sooner you talk to him, even if it'll be hard, maybe you can figure out the next step you want to take." Elle said.

"You're right, but we just need our time apart for a while." Macy said.

"That's understandable." Elle nodded.

Macy nodded before looking out of the window.
