"I didn't." he said, "I loved you so much."

"Stop...stop Jason." Allie said. "I don't care anymore."

"Fine be that way."

"Listen to me, I want to keep talking to you...I just don't want to date you. Now if that was the reason why you called, heh...sorry to disappoint."

"Sadly, that isn't why I called for. I just wanted to talked. Haven't talked to any long distant friends in awhile."

"Oh well whats up?"

"Not much, just getting ready for hockey season." He said, "What's up with you?"

"Just goin' through my senior year, singing, writing music, etc."

"That's cool." He said, "Is everyone okay? I called Curtis earlier and he just seemed pissed off. Have you talked to him lately?"

Allie sighed, "Yeah...no...its complicated."

"Oh?" He asked, "How so?"

"I'm not going to be the one to tell you." Allie said.

"Alright." he shrugged, "It must be pretty bad, Iz won't even answer her phone."

"It is..." She muttered.

"I'll try her again later." he said

"Good luck." She mumbled.

"What was that?" He asked

"Nothing." Allie said.

"Oh, ok." he shrugged, "What else is new?"

"I got to sing in front of thousands of people at my mom's concert on my birthday."

"That's awesome." Jason said, "I don't think I would ever be able to do that, I can't sing." he laughed

Allie chuckled, "I didn't know I could either. Now you know how my mom's this super mega popstar, although she's not biological her talent must have rubbed off on me."

"Yep, must've." He laughed
