Courtney nodded then some hot chocolate packets to make make hot chocolate for the little kids.

Allie finished the hash browns minutes later before putting them on a plate to place on everyone's dishes.

When everything was done Courtney started grabbing the serving plates with all the food on them and placing them on the table.

"Allie can you grab the drinks please?" Courtney asked.

Courtney looked at the table to make sure everything was on it then called for Kayla, Jake, and Max. When they ran in she took Max into her arms and put him into his highchair before sitting down on a chair.

Allie placed the cups in their spot before sitting in her seat.

Courtney started putting food on Kayla and Jake's plates then put some food on Max's tray. Once she was done serving them she started putting food on her own plate.

Allie waited until everyone else's plated were fixed before filling her own and sitting back down.

"I'm glad you like it honey." Courtney said with a smile.

"I need syrup." Max said with a slight whine.

"You're welcome." Allie said.

She looked at Max, "I'll get it." Allie said before standing up and getting the syrup for Max and pouring some on his pancakes.

Max smiled widely then thanked Allie before he took a bite of his pancake.

"Anyone else need anything?" Courtney asked.

"Nope." Kayla and Jake said in unison.

Courtney finished her food a few minutes later then stood up to put her plate in the sink. She then noticed syrup all over Max's hands and face so she picked him up from his highchair so she could bring him into the bathroom.

Once in the bathroom Courtney put water on a small towel then wiped Max's face and hands until the syrup was gone. She picked him up before setting him down then walked out of the bathroom. When she walked back into the kitchen Kayla and Jake were putting their dishes in the sink.

"Allie want to play a board game?" Kayla asked.
