Playing Games (Anyone)

Since getting into a fight earlier that day at the mall Chris hadn’t seen or spoken to Sasha. He didn’t think it was that serious, but once again Sasha was playing games with his head, but he couldn’t be upset because he let her. She does this all the time, pick a fight with him, screen his calls while possibly flirting with some other guy, and manipulating him in the end making him feel like it was his fault they were fighting.

Chris tried her cell one more time; he threw it at the wall in frustration when she didn’t answer yet again. He sighed before grabbing his coat and walking out of his apartment. He walked down the street, and accidentally nudged someone walking in the opposite direction as him “Oh, sorry!“ he politely said

Izzy wasn't feeling..herself lately. She wasn't even 16 and she was expecting a child in about 6 months. She hadn't been home in a few weeks, she just wanted to be away from her dad for a bit, away from the tension. Izzy was outside walking when she felt someone nudge her and heard their apology.

She put on a fake smile, "Oh, it's fine." she shrugged

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." She said

"Okay good" he smiled "I should pay better attention, I have so much going through my head right now"

"You and me both." she chuckled

"It's kind of late, you sure you should be walking alone?"

"Eh, I'll be fine. And if I'm not, oh well." She shrugged

"Sure you don't want any company?" he asked

"You could join me if you want..I'm not even really sure where exactly I am going. Just walking aimlessly."

"That makes two of us then"

"Well, c'mon." she started walking

"So I'm Chris by the way" he said walking alongside her

"Isabella, or Izzy, either is fine."

"Cool, so Izzy what's on your mind?" he asked

"My future." She said softly, "I see nothing good in it."

"I'm sure that's not true" he replied "What makes you think that?"

"Because I'm a bad kid." She said.

"What did you do that was so bad?"

"promise you won't judge me?" She asked

"Not at all" he answered

"Well, my boyfriend forced me into doing something, I gave into peer pressure. And now I'm pregnant. My dad says I'm an embarrassment and I don't feel welcome in his house."

"Wow!" he said "How old are you exactly?"

"15." She hung her head in shame.

"Aw, I'm sorry to hear that" he told her "what does your boyfriend say?"
