All Night Long

Well, he had to get out of New York. He traveled with his dad to the next city and while his dad was out doing whatever he was trying to get some rest.

Chris tossed and turned but he couldn’t sleep. It wasn’t that he didn’t see the break up coming , he just didn’t think it would come that soon and he would be that disappointed about it. She was sixteen he was eighteen, he was also good looking so he knew he would have no problem moving on but, he wasn’t sure what it was about Sasha in particular.

When Chris figured he couldn’t sleep, he decided to go for a walk. He exited the hotel in a sweatshirt and gym shorts, and while walking he eventually ended up near the pool. He saw a hammock and laid down on it glancing up at the night sky.

Allie sighed after hanging up the phone with her friend Myla. She needed to get out since whe had no inspiration for writing that night. Maybe a nice walk would help her. Allie walked out of her hotel room with some shorts, and a crop top with moccasins and a sweatshirt. She made her way to the pool and seen someone lying on a hammock yards away from the water.

Allie looked closer and seen someone familiar...Chris. Sasha was right, she wasn't going to listen to her. Allie walked over to the hammock and smiled softly, "Stargazing?"

Chris snapped out of his daze when he heard a voice. He looked and smiled at Allie "Uh, something like that" he chuckled "Care to join me?"

"Sure." Allie's smile grew as she laid next to him on the hammock.

(It's cool.)

Chris held onto her lightly as the hammock swung back and forth a bit. "So what are you doing out here so late?"

"Can't sleep." Allie shrugged, "I have a lot on my mind."

"Like what?"

"I just met Sasha again, my ex broke my heart again, I have writers block, and I fucking hate school."

"Damn, my life isn't looking so bad now"

"What's wrong with you?"

"Sasha and I broke up"

"Really? Did you dump her?" Allie asked with a frown.

"It was the other way around"

Allie's jaw dropped lightly, "Seriously?" Allie hugged his waist comfortingly, "I'm sorry."

"Can't say I didn't see it coming"

"But its still awful."

"I'll get over it, I'm sure"

"Okay. I know how Sasha is so I wanted to make sure."

"Surprisingly she wasn't really rude about it"

"...Really?"

"She was actually really sweet, which is why I still want to take her to Aspen like I promised"

"Wow...you really are a good guy."

"I try" he chuckled "But, I would feel better about going if...."

"If what?" Allie asked.

"We had more people to tag along... I don't know like someone's sister and her boyfriend"
