Her Greatest Mistake

It should have never EVER happened.

Well...this was another reason for Allie to hate herself. It took her a while to realize what happened. After her and Jason finished, Allie grabbed her guitar and immediately ran to her car and drove off. She pulled over on the side of the road after about two miles and cried for about ten straight minutes. She wanted to die...so bad. She had sex..with her ex boyfriend that she was trying to tell that they couldn't have anymore relations. She fell into another trap placed by herself, she was blinded by her love and failed herself once again.

Allie called Courtney in hysterics as she told her that she was on her way and that she needed to talk to her. Allie started driving again and made it to the house about five minutes later by speeding. Allie grabbed the guitar and walked into the house. Allie walked into the house and locked the door before closing it. She laid the guitar against the wall and looked for Courtney.

Allie found her and immediately bursted into more tears. "Mommy.." She sobbed as she buried her face into her chest and let out all of her emotions that gathered up on her way home.

Courtney wrapped her arms around Allie tightly and held her when her daughter ran into her arms. She gently rubbed her back and whispered "Shh" to her as she tried to calm her down.

"Allie, you have to calm down." Courtney said softly.

"I can't! I fucked up!"

"I'm sure whatever you did wasn't as bad as you're making it out to be." Courtney said, trying to be positive about the situation even though she didn't know about what happened.

She continued to gently rub Allie's back and stroke her hair.

"Come on, we'll sit on the couch and talk about it but you have to calm down."

"But you're gonna be mad at me!"

"But I'll still love you regardless. You can tell me anything Allie, if I'm mad or upset or whatever it doesn't matter because I'll still love you. Alright? So tell me what's going on." Courtney said.

Allie took a deep breathe and looked up at Courtney, "I...had sex with Jason." She said quietly.

Courtney pulled away from Allie as her eyes widened. Did she just hear her correctly?

"You what?" Courtney asked in shock.

Allie looked down in shame as she started crying again. "I'm sorry...I don't even know what happened!!"

Courtney swallowed hard as she tried to digest the information she just got. She couldn't believe it at all and couldn't even imagine how Randy would feel about this. After letting out a heavy sigh she looked at Allie and saw how upset she was. Even though she didn't like what her daughter had done she was still her daughter and she was in pain.

"Shh...I'm here for you." Courtney said, hugging Allie again.

"I feel so fucking stupid." Allie sobbed, "Please don't be too mad!"

Courtney shook her head as she held Allie tightly.

"I'm not mad...just shocked and disappointed." Courtney said.

"I'm sorry..." Allie said softly.

Courtney nodded slowly before she stood up and held her hands out.

"Come on, let's continue this on the couch." Courtney said.

Allie nodded as she walked with Courtney towards the couch.

Courtney sat down on the couch then let out a heavy sigh as one question stayed heavy on her mind. It made her nervous and she didn't want to ask it for fear of Allie's answer but she needed to know.

"Did you use...protection?" Courtney asked.

Allie nodded, "Of course." She said.

"At least you both were smart enough to think of that." Courtney said.

"I seriously...hate myself for this. I don't even know what came over me which caused me to go and do that!" Allie said.

"Sometimes when you think you're in love with a person you do stupid things, sex being one of them. Teenagers don't understand sex as much as adults do because adults have had the chance to really experience it the way it should be. It's not all about being able to do it, it's about being in love with the person you are with and when you are it's really the most amazing feeling. You know it was wrong and you don't even know where you're going with Jason or if you still love him so that's why you feel so bad now." Courtney said.

Allie sighed and wiped her eyes a little, "I swear...I'm in love with him. I would have never let this happen if I wasn't. I'm just not one to sleep around with someone. I love him and now I don't know what to do with him anymore."

"I think you two need to take a break for a while and I don't mean a week, I mean at least a couple weeks maybe months so you have time to actually figure this whole mess out." Courtney said.

"I think so too..." Allie said and sighed heavily.

Courtney sighed then shook her head.

"Excuse me, I need an aspirin." Courtney said before getting up and going into the kitchen.

Allie frowned as she watched Courtney walk into the kitchen before pulling her knees into her chest and hid her face in her knees as she cried again.
