Visiting Chaos (Lucky)

Cass had gone back to her dad's house in Texas. She hadn't been there for a while and considering the situation she had been in in the recent weeks, family seemed the best option. She had been staying there for about a week now with her mom, dad and younger sister Laura.
Right now, Cass was sat in her bedroom looking out her window when someone knocked on her door. Her mom walked in.
"Cassie sweetie, you have a visitor shall I send them up?" she asked.
"If it's anyone from work tell them to leave me alone, same thing applies to anyone claiming to be my doctor!"

Lucky really needed to talk to Cassie, she felt really bad about breaking her promise and telling Jeff. She didn't want Cass to be angry with her. But Jeff needed to know and she knew that Cass wouldn't tell him herself. She never meant to ruin their marriage.

"No sweetie, just a friend." her mom said. Cass sighed deeply.
"Fine send them in." she looked back out her window.

Lucky sighed as she waited.

"You can go in now." Mrs. Austin said before she left.

"Thank you." she said before walking into the room, "Cass?"

Cass spun around from her window.
"Lucky! Thank God, I was hoping you'd come and visit....I think everyone else pretty much hates me right now." she sobbed a little as she pulled down her sleeves to hide the cuts and bruises.

"Aww, sweetie." Lucky hugged her

Cass hugged her back.
"I don't even know how he found out. The day I left that bastard for good, the best thing that happened to me left as well."

Lucky sighed, she felt bad about that.

"So....did you want anything? Or just here to offer support?"

"Actually, I came because I need to tell you something."

"Sure you can tell me anything....unless it has something to do with a certain doctor or an estranged husband." Cassie tried to crack a smile.

"Uh.." She let out a nervous laugh, "I may have mentioned something to Jeff about you and Jonathan."

It took Cass a moment to realize what Lucky had said but when it clicked, she still couldn't believe it.
"You did what? I...I trusted you!"

"I'm soo sorry, Cass. Jeff's a good friend of mine and he deserved to know."

"What and I'm not?! Oh my God, I can't believe I trusted you!"

"I knew you weren't going to tell him yourself!"

"I'm losing my husband, my children, my friends...I can't go to work let alone leave the house!...Do you know how many times I've tried to call him to try and apologize?"

"I didn't mean to ruin your marriage! How the fuck do you think I feel? I haven't seen my kids in over 3 months! My ex hates me and I have no family!"

"I want you out of the house....now." Cass held back her tears.

"Fine!" she stormed out

Cass slammed the door after her and sat on her bed.
