Ashlyn sat in the prison cell alone. She had gotten used to this now, usually happened on a regular basis. This time it was for being intoxicated and fighting in public. Last week it was for drugs. The week before drunken disorderly conduct. It had become customary.
"Brooks, you got a visitor." the officer said. Ashlyn looked up at her visitor.
"Took your time didn't you?"
