An Odd Way To Meet (Lucky)

Nikki finished the guitar riff and reveled in the screaming and cheering off the crowd.
"Thank you! You fuckin' rocked it tonight!" Olli yelled before they exited the stage. Nikki immediately got a drink and started searching for her cigarettes in her bag but instead found a note of Christian. "Will buy you more later XD x" Nikki rolled her eyes and left her dressing room in search of cigarettes.
She spotted a woman at the end of the hall and walked up to her, tapping her shoulder.

"Hey I'm sorry but do you have any cigarettes? Mine appear to have been 'borrowed' by one of my friends." Nikki asked, brushing her hair out her eyes.

Lucky stood at the end of the hallway backstage, she was out for a good time by herself. She turned around when someone tapped her on the shoulder. She chuckled a bit.

"Yeah, I do." She searched in her purse for a few moments before pulling a carton out before taking out two cigarettes, one for the woman and one for herself.

"Here you go." Lucky said as she handed it to her.

"Thank you so much!" Nikki said with relief as she took her lighter from her jeans pocket and lit it before offering it to the other woman.

"Who knew playing a guitar could be so stressful?" Nikki laughed.

"No problem." She said before putting it in her mouth and lighting it. Once it was lit, she handed the lighter back to Nikki and took it out of her mouth. Lucky chuckled.

"Can't be as stressful as working with your ex-husband."

"Damn." Nikki blew out some smoke "Wouldn't know that feeling I've not been engaged long. I'm Nikki by the way." she put the cigarette back between her lips.

She took inhaled on the cigarette before blowing out smoke, "I'm Lucky." She introduced

"You're a wrestler right?" Nikki asked.

Lucky nodded, "Yup, that's me."

"Yes! Lucky Barrett! I'm a big fan." Nikki smiled.

She chuckled, "It's always a pleasure to meet a fan."

(That's fine!)

"Speaking of fans, what time is it? I have a meet and greet at 11 with the others."

"It's 10 now." She said looking at her phone

"Still an hour that's fine. God today's been a long one. I think we started sound check at like 1pm." Nikki blew a smoke ring.

"Yeah, I know what that's like." She said, " You guys did amazing, by the way."

"Oh thank you, were you in the crowd or back here?" Nikki asked.

"I was in the crowd for awhile. The security let me back here though, they know me."

"You're lucky you got out, death by mosh pit out there tonight." Nikki chuckled.

Lucky chuckled, "Yeah, mosh pits are awesome, though."

"Being on the stage deffinitely beats it though."

"I agree completely with ya there. There's nothing better than being on stage."

"If I get kicked out of the music business I'm done. I don't know how to do anything else in life, I just fail at life." Nikki laughed.

"I used to think the same thing and that was my downfall I got myself so worked up over failure."

"Mine's the truth though, in interviews when they ask what I did before the band my reply is always 'unemployed teenager' I literally can't do anything else."

"I was also absolutely nothing before I became famous, it's not uncommon." She shrugged

"So you said ex-husband earlier? Didn't work out huh?" Nikki asked finishing her cigarette.
