Single Father Status (Anyone)

Jeff was in the grocery store, doing a little shopping for the house. He has a few days off and all he wanted to do was spend it with the kids. Though the divorce had been final for awhile Jeff was still getting the hang of the Single Father duties. He slowly walked down each aisle gathering a bunch a snacks, canned goods, drinks, and dinner meat for the entire weekend. Jeff was pushing the buggy around the corner when he accidently clashed into someone’s basket “I am so sorry” he said coming around the corner.

Lucky was out grocery shopping for things she needed around her house. She was just walking out of an aisle when someone crashed into her cart. At first, she was kind of angry but then she saw who it was.

"Oh, it's fine." Lucky shrugged it off, "No biggie."

"Hey stranger, how have you been?"

"I've been really great lately, just recently got out of rehab." she smiled, "How are you with...the divorce and everything?" she hesitated to ask

"Oh I'm much more interested in hearing about rehab? Rehab for what?"

"I was becoming more and more depressed by the day, I was inflicting self hurt, doing bad things really. I needed to be set straight."

"Depressed about what?"

"Just everything, I felt like I was a million miles away from everyone."

"Well, I'm glad you got help"

"Thanks." She said, "I really needed it."

"How's Wade?"

"I honestly don't know." She replied, "The last I heard of him he had some kind of arm injury. We don't talk."

"That sucks, do you atleast see the kids?"

"Rarely."

"I can't say much Skyla and I are in the same position"

"That sucks," She said, "Do you see your kids?"

"I have custody of my kids, she doesn't really see them often"

"Ah, I see, well in that case, it's good for you."

"Right"

She nodded, "Still wrestling?"

"Of course, the money has to come from somewhere" he chuckled

She chuckled, "True, true."

"What are you doing lately?"

"Writing music, making new friends, sitting at home a lot." She said
