You're Back (Curtis)

Everything had happened so quickly. It seemed like only yesterday that she had told Curtis that she was pregnant and he disappeared off the face of the planet. She had been doing fine on her own after Shiloh was born. Izzy's dad had accepted the fact that she had had a baby and loved Shiloh more than anything. Isabella loved being a mom, even though some days she felt regret for loving someone who would not be there for her through rough times.

Izzy was sitting in her living room playin with Shiloh, when she heard a knock at the door. She scooped up her giggling 9 month-old daughter and opened the door to see Curtis staring back at her.

"Uhm, what are you doing here?" Izzy asked, confused as to why he would come back after all this time.

"I was expecting a more on the slam the door in my face greeting but that works too." Curtis said with a sheepish smile.

"I could slam the door if you want me to." She replied

"No...that's okay." He quickly responded, "I know I haven't been around."

"Really?" Izzy rolled her eyes, "Soo, why are you here?"

"To make things right."

"Nothing can really make up for what you did. I understand that you were scared or whatever, but that doesn't make anything right. I was scared out of my mind, but I couldn't run away from my problem. You really hurt me."
