Coming Back Home (John/Elle)

Elle was in the kitchen feeding Anthony when she hears the door open.

Looking over the shoulder she sees John.

Smiling a bit, she says. "Hey."

"Hey." John says walking in and setting a bunch of boxes down

"Need any help?" Elle asks, looking up from Anthony again.

"Nah. Just a few boxes of junk." He says smiling

Elle nods her head, picking up Anthony and giving him a bottle.

John smiles as he moves the boxes into his and Elle's bedroom

Elle walks upstairs with Anthony, sitting on the bed as she watches John.

"Is that everything?" She asks.

"Just a few more bags of clothes." He says

"How in the world did you have all that stuff with you? You were gone for four months, not four years." Elle says, putting the bottle and putting a towel over her shoulder as she begins to burp Anthony.

"Babe I manage to get alot of things in the past four months." He says

"Like?" Elle asks.

"Like this." He says pulling out a small box that held a mother's ring for Elle

"Is that-?"Elle asks, looking at the ring, smiling.

John smiles as he sees the look on her face. "You like it?"

"I love it." Elle says.

John smiles taking Anthony from her

"You still have my wedding ring." Elle says.

"Yup." He says

Elle nods her head.

"You want it?" He asked

"I don't know." Elle says. "I mean we are married but we still haven't went through with the big wedding yet."

"We still can." He says laying Anthony down in his bassnet

"Don't you think it's a bit too soon for us to go back to planning that wedding?"

"Yeah, but I was letting you know that it was still there." He says going back to unpacking

Elle nods her head, walking over and standing in front of the closet door.

"You can't go in there." She says. "If you were planning to...at least not now."
