Meeting the Orton's (John/Elle)

Elle bites her lips and taps her finger nervously as her and John drive towards Bob and Elaine's house. Sure, the two have been together for awhile and are married, but this was the first time John would meet the only real parental figures in her life. Plus, after all the trouble they had just went through with their marriage and since the big wedding was being postponed, Elle wasn't too sure how they would react to John.

"I think we should just turn around and head back to the airport now, I'm so nervous." Elle says.

"Elle calm down. Its going to be just fine." John says

"You say that now, it's going to be a long weekend." Elle says, groaning. "Then we're flying into West Newburry tomorrow to see your family...I think I'm going to be sick."

(Forgot about Cena's family, so I added that last part in. lol.)

"Elle everything is going to be just fine. Relax." He says pulling into the Orton's drive way

"Uh huh...you say that now. We aren't surviving this weekend." Elle says, getting out of the car.

"Eleanor." Elaine says with a smile as she comes out of the house upon hearing John pull into the driveway.

"Hi Elaine." She says, giving her a hug.

Elaine looks over at John.

"It's nice to finally meet you or last encounter was very...brief." Elaine says.

Elle groans, shaking her head.

"Yeah ummm...sorry about that." John says

Elaine smiles.

"It's okay John, I'm just glad you two worked it out." Elaine says, hugging him.

"Where's Bob?" Elle asks.

"Right here my dear." Bob says, with a smile.

Elle smiles, walking up to him and hugging him.

Bob pulls away from Elle and looks John over.

"Don't mind him John, he's nice." Elaine whispers to him.

"Thanks for the heads up." He whispers back

"So this is the guy?" Bob asks Elle.

"Oh, Bob be nice." Elaine says.

Bob looks John over one more time before walking into the house.

"No, Bob's just being overprotective of you as always." Elaine says.

Elle nods her head.

"You two get your things and bring them upstairs, dinner is almost ready." Elaine says.

"Can I go hide now?" Elle asks John.

"No. If I'm doing this so are you." He whisphers back

Elle groans, walking up to John and wrapping her arms around him.

"We can leave now, they won't even notice." She says.

"It'll be fine." Elaine says, shaking her head as she walks into the house.

"Elle you know we would have to do this sooner than later and its better to get it over with now." John says holding her close

"I hate it when you're right." Elle mutters, pulling away and walking towards the trunk to get her bag.

"You may hate it now, but you know that you love me." He says

"I do, which is why I'm going through this painful experience." Elle says, opening the trunk and grabbing her suitcase.

John smiles grabbing his bag and hers from her hand

Elle closes the trunk.

"Let's get this over with." She says, walking towards the house and going inside.

"You already know which room is yours Elle." Elaine says when they walk inside.

"I know." She says, walking upstairs.

John walks in behind her following her to the room

Elle walks inside the room and sits on the bed, looking at John.

"I want to take you somewhere after dinner and all of us talk." Elle says.

John nodded

"I want to take you to my dad's grave." Elle says.

"Are you sure?" He asked

Elle nods her head.

"Yeah, I am. I haven't been down there in a couple years." She replies.

"Alright." He says

Elle nods her head, getting up and grabbing his hand as they walk out of the room.
