Mixed Emotions (Evan/Riley)

Evan sighs, getting out of his car when he arrives to his house. He had just got done spending a what turned out to be an amazing day with Paris Ouellette. He was thrown off my the impromptu run-in, but couldn't shake the feelings that he was all of a sudden having.

Shaking his head, he walks into the house seeing Riley in the living room. He smiles weakly, giving a muttered hello as he walks into the kitchen.

Riley notice something was wrong with Evan.

"What's wrong with you?"

"It's nothing." Evan says, going to the fridge and taking out a beer.

"Whatever you say Evan." She says walking back into the living room

Evan sighs, taking a long sip of the beer before following her into the living room.

Riley sits on the couch and smiles at Matthew playing with Destiny

"We need to talk." Evan says.

"Okay. About what?" She says

"I...uh." Evan says, sighing. "Hung out with Paris today."

"So." She says trying to figure out what was really going on

"And well, her and I kind of became close." Evan says.

Riley tried to hide that she was shaking

"Ho...How close?" She asked watching Matthew and Destiny

"Not like that, I just...like her, a lot." Evan says.

"How much is alot Evan?" She asked

"I don't Riley, I'm confused." Evan says.

"Alright. I guess I can move out and give you time to get unconfused about it."

"What? Why are you moving out?" He asks.

"Cause I cant deal with this Evan. You have to get your mind straight and me being here isnt helping."

Evan sighs.

"You're staying here, I'm the one that's confused..not you. Everything that's for the kids is here and I'm barely home as it, stay at the house."

"I dont want to be by myself Evan."

"Riley, it's what's best for the kids." Evan says. "You need to stay here."

"Fine." She says walking upstairs

Evan nods his head, sighing as picks up Destiny and walks with Matthew up to their rooms.

Getting them settled, he walks into their bedroom and grabs suitcase, going into the closet to pack some clothes.

Riley locks herself in the bath room crying

Evan hears Riley, sighing cause he isn't sure what to do.
