Anthony's First Game (John/Elle)

John gets out and knocks on the door

Anthony opens the door and smiles when he sees John.

"Daddy." He says, stepping aside to let John in.

"Hey bud. This is for you." He says handing him a football

"Where's your mom?"

"Thanks." Anthony say, starting to toss the football around.

"Anthony not in the house. How many times do I have to tell you?" Elle says, coming downstairs in shorts and a white tank top with her bikini underneath.

"I'm not going to break anything." Anthony says.

"Right...that's what you said last time and then you broke my vase." She says.

John smiles

"These are for you." He says handing her the flowers

Elle looks at the flowers and then at John.

"For?" Elle asks.

"For letting me come over."

"You're welcome, but flowers are for people that are together...and we're not so they aren't necessary." Elle says.

"Please just take them."

Elle mutters under her breath as she takes the flowers and walks into the kitchen.

John sighs

Elle looks at the trash can before deciding to set the flowers down on the counter.

"Swim?" Anthony asks.

"Yeah." Elle says. "Be careful, I'll be out there in a minute."

Anthony nods his head before opening the door and going outside.

"Really Cena? Flowers? Why are you doing this to me?" Elle asks.

"Doing what. I was being nice." John says

"Nice? Cena there is no 'nice' between us, I really don't like to be around you that much and I'm almost positive you don't either. So let's stop pretending like either one of us actually care." Elle says, walking past him.

"Elle you dont know me to well. Because I love being around you. I love spending time with you and Anthony. Your the one you doesnt."

"Hmm and I wonder why I can't stand to be around you." Elle says.

"Because I hurt you."

"Exactly, so get used to me being like this." Elle says.

"Maybe this was a bad idea." john mutters

Elle shrugs her shoulders.

"I seriously don't know what you expected from me." She says.

"I dont know Elle. You never talk with me about things. Where you ever going to tell me about Anthony playing football?"

"Sorry Cena for not keeping you updated on my life but you kind of lost that privilege when you cheated on me and then chose her over me. I needed to get Anthony together before I even considered bringing you back into his life." Elle replies.

"Whatever Elle. Tell Anthony I'll see him later." John says as he started to walk off

"You're getting very good at walking away from everything Cena." Elle says.

"Just like you." John snapped
