Making It Work!!! (Elle/John)

John had just pulled up into his driveway and he noticed that Elle's car was there. He got out grabbed his bags and walked to the door and opened it.

"Elle. Anthony?" John yelled

"Just me." Elle says. "I hope you don't mind, I used my old key."

"No. Just trying to figure out what's going on?"

"Well.." Elle says. "Since we agreed that we weren't going to get the divorce, I figured in order for us to make this work we need to talk...about everything."

"Okay." John says

Elle nods her head, sighing.

"Okay..so I guess we start with the root of our problems, the baby." She says.

John nodded as he went to sit down on the couch

"I'm sorry for not asking you how you felt and not talking to you about it. I was scared and I felt weak, two emotions that I hate feeling. So, for me the best way to handle it is to not talk about it and act as if it never happened. I didn't want to push you away, it's just that I couldn't get him out my head...I really wanted to have another baby and I know how excited we were about it." She says.

"I know. Its just hit us both hard and when you wouldnt talk to me it just made me think that you blamed me for it."

Elle shakes her head.

"I never blamed you for this, if anything I blamed myself for not taking the pain I felt too seriously." Elle says.

John nodded

"How were you suppose to know."

Elle shrugs her shoulders.

"I don't know..I just miss him and I hate that we lost him." She says.

John nodded

"I never meant for things to get this bad between us. Especially because it led you to cheat on me." Elle says.

"That wasnt your fault Elle. I should have kept pushing her away, but I didnt and I'm mostly to blame for this."

"Why didn't you?" Elle asks.

"Cause she made me believe that she could make me happy again Elle. The night that you lefted I went back to her and that was when she told me her whole plan to ruin your life. She knew the only way for her to do that was getting to me. I fell for it Elle and it hurt you so bad."

Elle nods her head.

"If you were so unhappy, why did you agree to walk down the aisle with me agin? ou could've postponed it." Elle says.

"Because I knew Courtney and Orton would have killed me."

"So the night of our wedding...you were with her, weren't you? You didn't leave the reception because you were sick, you were with Bree." Elle says.

"At first I lefted her there Elle, but then I texted her and yes I was with her. I'm surprised Orton and Courtney didnt tell you that since they were there too."

"And then you slept with me..." Elle says, shaking her head.

John nodded

"Did you even want me while all this was going with Bree or did you go through the motions just so you wouldn't get caught?" Elle asks.

"Yes Elle I wanted you."
