Lunch With The Little Sister (Dave/Raina)

Rai nodded and closed her eyes. "I know I hated that I couldn't bring myself to come back for him. I hated leaving all of you like that but I couldn't face my demons." Rai opened her eyes revealing them to be more gray then any of the other colors that usually were present. "I'm sorry I was gone for so long." Tears started to swim in her eyes.

Dave got up and hugged Rai.

"It's okay, don't cry." Dave said.

Rai nodded and hugged him. She smiled. "So whose paying for lunch and can we order?"

"I am." Dave said as he sat down.

A waiter came over then asked what they wanted to drink and to eat.

"I'll have a diet coke and a cheeseburger and fries." Dave said.

Rai looked at him. "Coke, bacon cheeseburger, and chili cheese fries." The waiter nodded and walked off. Rai looked at her brother with a smile. "So I've been looking at places in the area."

"Really?" Dave asked with a smile.

"Yeah I've found some places with alot of potential." Rai said as she pulled a piece of paper from her purse. She showed him the list of places that she was looking into.

"These look nice." Dave said.

"Yeah. Some are fixer uppers. I was wondering if you wanted to go with me and Jeff to look at a few." Rai said as she sat back to let the waiter set her food down.

"I'd love to." Dave said.

"Thanks." Rai said before she took a bite of the burger.

"You're welcome."Dave said as he ate a french fry.

"When are you free?" Rai asked before she took a sip of her soda.

"Next Wednesday." Dave said.

Rai nodded. She pulled out her PDA and looked through it. She put it in then pulled out her cellphone to send a text to Jeff. Dave is free Wed. I know you have meetings but we can always go look at the houses after you get out. If you don't want to then me and Dave can go.

Rai smiled. I'm glad. Love you and I'll see you at the hotel later. Rai then looked up at her brother. "So big guy what are your plans for the rest of the day?"

"Nothing." Dave said.

"Same here until Jeff gets done with whatever it is he's doing today." Rai said as she started eating.

"I think they scheduled him for a signing." Dave said as he took a bite of his burger.

Rai nodded and then smirked. "Wanna go crash the signing?"

Dave chuckled.

"Why not?" Dave asked.

Rai did a small victory dance. She then flashed her 'bright eye smile' as Eddie used to call it. "You know it's a good thing you enable my little schemes."

"Why is that?" Dave asked.

"I don't have to hide them from you and worry about you getting onto me later." Rai said with the Bautista smirk gracing her features.
