Don't Tell the Wife (Anyone?)

Cheyenne had had Adam on a very careful training plan since his injury and it was driving him crazy. So now, with Cheyenne away with their children for the day Adam was going to push himself to his full potenial and hope no one told Cheyenne about it.

Rai walked into the gym to get a work out. She saw Adam. "Oooh someone is in trouble." She said in a sing song voice.

"Don't you dare say a word to Chey," Adam warned.

Rai laughed and shook her head. "She finds out that I hid it from her my ass is on the line."

"Rai, she's pregnant again, I can't have her stressing out now," Adam said, running a hand over his hair.

Rai sighed and looked at him. "If you start hurting then let me know. I don't want her coming down on me."

"I will, I will," Adam said before he returned to running on the treadmill.

Rai got on the empty treadmill beside him and started a slow jog.

"She's having twins," Adam smiled.

"That's awesome." Rai said as she moved easily.

Adam picked up the pace a little, hoping Rai wouldn't notice when he began to stumble.

Rai noticed the increase and glanced at Adam. "You ok over there big guy?"

"I'm fine," Adam said.

Rai looked at him with a glare. "Adam Joseph Copeland don't you dare lie to me."

"Don't call me that," Adam muttered. "Only my wife can call me that."

"When you lie to me I will call you that."

"I'm not lying!" Adam stressed.

Rai got off her treadmill and stood in front of Adam. "I know you better than that Adam."

"Im fine Rai," Adam said.

"I don't believe you. Adam please just get off."

"No," Adam said.

"Don't make me make you get off." Rai said as she crossed her arms and glared.

Adam rolled his eye and got off the treadmill.

Rai went and pulled up his pant leg. "Damn it Adam you're wife is going to kill me."

"And why is that?" Cheyenne asked as she walked through the door with her hands on her hips.
