First Day on a Brand New Planet (Bethany/Kyle)

"Sounds like me, but with the whole photography thing." Kyle said.

Bethany nodded. "Life was great until my mom, dad, brother and sister were killed last year."

"I'm sorry to hear that." Kyle said.

"Now I'm alone, waking up to an empty apartment every day," Bethany said.

"It'll get easier over time." Kyle said.

"I've just never lived alone before, I always lived with one of the girls from the magazine I used to work for," Bethany said.

Kyle nodded his head.

"That understandable." He said.

"I guess I'll have to get used to it though," Bethany said.

"You will." Kyle said.

"You think so?" Bethany asked.

"I know so." Kyle said.

(Sorry for the late post. Ended up having a "family dinner" with both of my parents out of nowhere.)

Bethany smiled.

Kyle smiled back.
