Blackout (Anyone)

Courtney was four months pregnant and in the studio. She knew she told Randy she would wait until after her pregnancy to work on the new album but she couldn't help herself. Music was her life and it wouldn't hurt her or the baby if she did some song writing and maybe some recording. She looked over when she saw the door open.

Rai walked in with Nitro and Adam. The two were going to listen to her record some songs that mean alot to her and Jeff and some that mean alot to her brother as presents for the two. She smiled at Courtney. "Should you be here?"

"Maybe not." Courtney said with a chuckle.

"I never saw you." Rai said as she sat down to go over her notes. "Did we boys?" "Absolutely not." Adam responded. Nitro shook his head. "Nope."

"Okay." Courtney said as she went back to writing.

Adam looked over Rai's shoulder. "Did you write one for both of them?" "Nope I hope they like this."

"Surprise!" Elle said, bursting into the room.

"Oh...damn, didn't know everyone would be here." Elle said noticing other people in the studio besides Courtney.

"Elle!" Courtney yelled with a wide smile before she got up and hugged her.

"Elle!" Rai said as she got up and hugged her. "How are you?"

Elle chuckled, hugging Courtney and Rai back.

"Wow...you're starting to show a bit." Elle said, rubbing Courtney's stomach.

"I'm good. How are you?" Elle replied.

"And you missy, you shouldn't be in here." Elle teased Courtney.

"Stupid morning sickness." Rai responded. "We never saw her."

"Yes I am." Courtney said with a chuckle as she put a hand on her stomach.

She rolled her eyes.

"Elle you know I can't stay away from this place. For the next couple hours it's all mine and I'm going to sing and write like I should be doing." Courtney said.

"The worst part of being pregnant." Elle said.

"Yeah, I know you can't Court. My lips are sealed." Elle said.

"You're the best Elle. If Randy thinks I can seriously wait to do this album until after the baby's born he's nuts." Courtney said.

"See we love you Court."

"I've been saying Randy was crazy for years, you didn't want to listen to me." Elle said.

"I should have but I love him too much to lose him." Katie said.

"And he loves you." Rai said as she raised her head up. "He has been happier then I have ever seen him."

Elle rolled her eyes.

"Elle what are you rolling your eyes for?" Courtney asked.

"How much you don't listen to me." Elle replied.

Courtney hugged Elle.

"What's with the hug?" Elle asked.

"Because you seemed bitter and could use some cheering up. I do listen to you Elle sometimes." Courtney said.

Rai watched the two with a smile then went back to writing.
