Finding Out (Randy/Courtney)

Courtney sighed as she shifted in her seat and rested her hands on her stomach, she was five months pregnant. She and Randy were there for their ultrasound appointment and to find out the sex of the baby but the hospital staff were busy so they had to wait in the room.

"This is taking forever." Courtney said.

"Tell me about it." Randy said, sighing.

"Well at least you're entertained." Courtney said to her stomach, feeling the baby kicking.

"How am I entertained?" Randy asked.

"Not you the baby." Courtney said as she rubbed her stomach.

She took Randy's hand then put it on her stomach to feel the baby kicking.

"Oh..." Randy said, smiling when he felt the baby kick.

"All it does is kick." Courtney said with a chuckle.

"Must be a boy then." Randy said.

"Maybe or the little girl takes after you way too much." Courtney said.

"No, it's a boy." Randy said.

"You just want it to be a boy so it can be another child to carry your legacy." Courtney said.

"Doubles the chances of it happening." Randy said.

Courtney rolled her eyes then heard her cell phone ringing. She looked down at her back then put a hand on her stomach and turned on her side before she reached down and grabbed her cell phone.

Randy grabbed a magazine and flipped through it.

Courtney lied back onto her back and pressed the speaker button without looking at the caller id.

"Hello?" Courtney asked.

"Hey Court. The songs you recorded last month came out great, you should come down and listen to them."

Courtney cursed herself when she heard what he said.

Randy looked over at Courtney.

"What came out greatly?" Randy asked.

"Nothing." Courtney muttered.

"Is that Randy? Randy you're going to love Courtney's new album, the songs she's recorded are amazing so far!"

"Courtney's isn't recording an album." Randy said.

"Yes she is. She was in here recording a couple songs last month."

"Will you be quiet? Randy doesn't need to listen to you talk." Courtney said.

Randy looked over at Courtney.

"Really now? I had no idea." Randy said.

Courtney looked at Randy then quickly hung up on her record producer.

"Courtney, talk." Randy said.

"I'd rather not." Courtney said.

"Oh well, talk." Randy said.

"I've been kind of recording music behind your back." Courtney muttered.
