Reprising His Role (Jason/Rai)

Jason sat on set and smiled with his guitar in his lap. He had his chance to reprise his role in the film version of Johnathan Larson's RENT, in which he'd played Roger for years. He was incredibly excited.

Rai walked around. She was supposed to help the cast with the dance routines. She smiled at the thoughts of when she did this as a teen. She spotted a familiar figure and smiled. "Jason Roland!"

"Raina Bautista," Long time no see midget," Jason chuckled.

Rai rolled her eyes and hugged him. "I am not a midget. I'm 5 foot and I can still whoop your ass."

Jason rolled his eyes and smiled when Allie and Meredith walked up to him.

"So what's been up with you?"

"Just raising these two and working on my WWE career," Jason said.

Rai smiled. "WWE? Looks like we'll see each other alot." She looked at the two girls. "Those your kids?"

Jason nodded.

"Meet Allie, she's 16, and Meredith, she's 13," Jason said.

Rai smiled. "Hi I'm Rai but if you watch wrestling you might know me as Vixen. It's nice to meet you."

Alli smiled.

"Dad, I'm gonna go find Brendon, okay?" Allie asked.

"Don't be gone long," Jason said.

Allie rolled her eyes.

"Taylor Allison, you heard me," Jason said firmly.

Rai bit back a laugh.

Allie walked away.

"She's a little spit fire." Rai said in amusement.

"She's 16, of course," Jason said.

"I was a terror at that age." Rai said with a laugh.

Jason nodded.

Rai looked around. "It's good to be doing RENT again."

Jason smiled when he saw Courtney walk into the room. She was supposed to be helping the rookie cast with their dance routines.

Courtney smiled at Jason.

"Hey." Courtney said.

"Hey," Jason said. "Thanks again for coming by."

"You're very welcome. If these dancers are going to be the best they need a professional." Courtney said.

"And I have to honor Johnathan's legacy," Jason said.

Courtney nodded with a smile.

"We're working on the big La Vie Boheme number," Jason said.
