Without The Rents (Anyone)

Anthony sat on the steps of his school figuring out what he was going to do. He didn't tell his mom or dad that he had gotten out early, so he had a whole hour to do whatever he wanted. Though, he was sure John and Elle would let him do it regardless since his idea of a good time was running around the park like a maniac, he didn't really want to be with them right now. Things had been good at home, but he just didn't feel like dealing with his mom, dad, or the twins.

Slinging his backpack off his shoulders he got up and walked down the street, smiling widely when he saw an ice cream truck.

"Sweet." Anthony said a wide smiled appearing on his face he rand down the street, but suddenly bumped into someone's leg, causing him to fall on his behind.

"Ow..." Anthony muttered, freezing when he saw the person he had bumped into.

"Oh," Cara gasped.

Anthony got up and dusted his pants off.

"Do I know you?" Anthony asked, scratching his head.

"I don't recognize your voice," Cara said, setting her blind cane down on the ground.

"Good." Anthony said. "Wait, don't know my voice?"

"I'm half blind in both eyes," Cara said.

"Blind?" Anthony asked.

"Half blind," Cara said. "I can't see very well, if at all somedays."

"How?" Anthony asked.

"I have MS," Cara said.

"I'm confused." Anthony said.

Cara sighed.

"What?" Anthon asked.

"Nothing," Cara muttered

"Sure?" Anthony asked.

"I need to get home to my son," Cara said.

"Oh.." Anthony said.

Cara nodded, stumbling a bit.

"Are you going to walk?" Anthony asked.

"Try to," Cara said, stumbling a bit more.

"Is that a good idea." Anthony said.
