Elle nodded.

"Just know I'm always here for you." John said.

"I know." Elle said.

John nodded then rubbed Elle's back.

Elle laid her head on John's shoulder.

John stroked Elle's hair.

Elle draped her arm across John's waist.

John rubbed Elle's arm.

"You don't have to stay." Elle said.

"I want to." John said.

"I'm going to be here for awhile." Elle said.

"And I'll be here with you through the whole thing." John said.

"I don't want you to see me like this." Elle said.

"I want to be here for you." John said.

Elle nodded.

John kissed Elle's hand.

"I'm so, so sorry about what happened." Elle said.

"I know you are sweetheart." John said.

"I didn't mean to put you through that." Elle said.

"I know. I still love you babe." John said.

"I really don't understand how." Elle said.

"I have a long list of why I love you." John said.

"It shouldn't be that long after I almost killed myself and how I've been acting over the last month or so." Elle said.

"Elle nothing could change how much I love you." John said.

"It doesn't make any sense though." Elle said.
