A down Day (Elle Mickie)

Mickie parked her and grabbed her bag. She walked toward the sand as she heard her phone go off.

"hello", Mickie answered

"Hey Mick, are you there?" Elle asked as she was close to the beach. She hadn't really been out much, but Mickie asked her about if she wanted to hang out and she figured she would.

"Yeah, I just got here. Where are you", Mickie answered back.

"A few minutes away." Elle replied.

"Alright, well ill be here", Mickie said.

"Alright, see you in a few." Elle said.

"okay bye", Mickie hung up.

Elle pulled up the beach five minutes later and walked over to Mickie.

Mickie looked over and saw Elle.

"Hey Mick." Elle said.

"Hey Elle", Mickie said.

Elle smiled a bit and sat down beside Mickie.

"So, how have you been?" Elle asked.

Mickie smiled back.

"I've been good. What about you", Mickie asked.

"Okay, I guess." Elle replied. "Sorry, I missed the baby."

"It's fine", Mickie said. "You will have to come and see her sometime".

"I'd like that. Her name is Taylor, right?" Elle said.

"Taylor Marie", Mickie said.

"How are you adjusting?" Elle asked.

"Eh good I guess", Mickie said.

"What do you mean?" Elle asked.

"Well we are not use to getting up every couple of hours during the night", Mickie said.

"She cries a lot?" Elle asked.

"Yeah. Last night I only got about 5 hours of sleep", Mickie said.

"You need a day to relax. John's mom and Elaine helped out a lot so that I can get some rest." Elle said.

"I do need a day to relax", Mickie said.
