Letting It All Out (John/Elle)

"You sure?" Elle asked.

"Very sure." John said.

Elle nodded.

"And your mom had no idea about this, ever?" Tiffany asked.

"I think she did, just didn't want to deal with it. Not exactly the easiest thing for her to accept." Elle said

John rubbed Elle's arm.

"And you kept all of that bottled in for a little over ten years." Tiffany said.

Elle nodded.

"What else was I going to do? I can't undo what he did to me, so why even bother." Elle said.

"You can talk it out so you can move on." John said.

"But it won't change what happened." Elle said.

"And keeping it bottled up doesn't allow you to have closure." Tiffany.

"Closure will be watching that son of a bitch burn and rot." Elle said.

"Can we do that?" John asked.

"Not legally." Elle muttered.

"Damn it." John muttered.

"I know..." Elle muttered.

"You always press charges." Tiffany said.

"And that'll keep him locked up for how long? He'll get out." Elle said

"It's worth a shot." John said.

"It's not, it's a waste." Elle said.

"No it's not." John said.

"It is, the justice system is so screwed up." Elle said.

"You could get a restraining order." John said.

"Like that'll work." Elle said.

"It will." John said.

"You don't know that." Elle said.

"I have faith in it that it will work." John said.

"But it's not, you can't stop him." Elle said.

"Yes I can." John said.

"How?" Elle asked.

"I have my ways." John said.

"Like?" Elle asked.
