Letting It All Out (John/Elle)

Elle continued to look out the window.

John got to his dad's house twenty minutes later.

Elle got out of the car and walked to the door.

John walked with Elle.

Elle knocked on the door.

John's dad opened the door then smiled.

"Hey, it's great to see you. Come in." John Sr. said as he stepped to the side.

"Same here." Elle said as she walked inside.

"Mom!" Anthony exclaimed running up to Elle.

Elle smiled as she picked up Anthony.

John smiled at Anthony.

"Thank you for taking them." Elle said.

Savannah peaked out of the corner of the wall before running up to John.

"You're welcome. It was a pleasure seeing them." John Sr. said.

John smiled widely then picked Savannah up.

"Sorry for it being so last minute though." Elle said, setting down Anthony and going over to pick up Cameron.

Savannah wrapped her arms around John's neck.

"It's okay. It was understandable." John Sr. said.

John kissed Savannah on her cheek.

"Still can't thank you enough." Elle said.

"Grandpa's was sooooo much fun." Savannah said.

"You don't have to, it was fun. I love seeing them." John Sr. said.

"Oh really? What did you do?" John asked.

"We need to come by more often." Elle said.

"Watched movies, grandpa got me more dolls, I played football too!" Savannah said.

"You should. I miss seeing my family." John Sr. said.

"Wow! Sounds like you had a bunch of fun." John said.

"We miss you too, I know your grand kids do too." Elle said.

"Where were you?" Savannah asked.

"Well bring them over whenever you want." John Sr. said.

"With mommy." John said.

"I'll be sure to." Elle said.

"Why?" Savannah asked.

John Sr. nodded with a smile.

"Because we wanted to spend time together." John said.

"Go get yourself." Elle said, putting Cameron down.

"Without me?" Savannah said, pouting.

"Yes. Sorry sweetheart." John said.

Savannah pouted.

"You will be with us next time." John said.

"Promise?" Savannah said.
