Facing the Consequences (Allie/Randy)

"Yeah." Allie said.

Randy nodded and walked downstairs before sitting on the couch.

Allie sat down on the couch next to Randy.

"As I thought about all the things I did, I realized I just wanted attention. The fight at school though, I was mad that those two girls said really personal things about me and I lost my cool. But about everything else, I'm sorry." Allie explained.

"Allie, why did you want attention?" Randy asked.

"Its pathetic really, I just felt like no one was paying any attention to me. But you really were, just not the way I wanted." Allie said.

"What did you want?" Randy asked.

"More attention than everyone else, me just being a spoiled brat." Allie said looking away.

Randy nodded, not knowing what else to say.

"I'm just stupid, and I'm really sorry." Allie said looking back at Randy.

"It's alright, we can work on this." Randy said.

"I guess." Allie said unsure.

"It just takes some time." Randy said.

Allie sighed.

"Okay."

"I forgive you for everything else, but you're still grounded." Randy said.

"Damn it." Allie mumbled to herself.

"I know." Allie said.

"Other than that, I'm not holding any of this against you." Randy said.

"Why not? I deserve it." Allie asked.

"Being grounded for a month and getting extra chores is enough punishment for the fight at school." Randy said.

"BLAH!" Allie whined when she heard her punishment.

"Should've thought of that before you got into a fight." Randy said.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I learned my lesson but I'll probably do it again, I don't know." Allie shrugged.

"Do it again and then your punishment will be a lot worse than this." Randy said.

"Okay, I was just being honest." Allie said.

"Appreciate it, but that doesn't mean you won't get punished." Randy said

"I know." Allie sighed.
