Did He Hurt You? (Anyone)

Lucky walked into the gym all bruised stitches in her leg. Every one looked at her as she head for a treadmill.

"Are you ok?" Someone asked

(Anyone?)

Julia stopped her treadmill.

"Lucky?" she asked, her voice was soft and quiet.

"Yeah?" Lucky asked in a tired voice, like she hadn't slept all night.

"Are you alright? Your leg looks...really bad." Julia replied moving the hair from her black eye.

"I've been better, your eye looks worse than my leg, no offense though." Lucky said yawning

"It was Drew with his anger issues again...I'm not the one with stitches though...you look like you've been mauled by an animal...no offence."

"Eh, I kind of feel like I've been mauled by an animal." Lucky said

"You wanna tell me what happened? Please? Was it....was it Wade?"

Lucky shook her head, "Well, kind of, sort of, but I swear it wasn't his fault, he knocked a glass off the counter I knelt down to pick it up and I missed a piece, it kind of ended up stuck in my leg." Lucky explained

"Oh my God." Julia said holding her ribs "Stop hurting ribs!"

"What happened?" Lucky asked

"Just a little...well...you know what Drew's like." Julia said trying to hide her shame.

"Yeah..." Lucky trailed

"We got into a little argument and I fell down the stairs."

"Oh boy." Lucky said "Are you ok?"

"Yeah, I'm fine...besides, I seem to fall down the staris alot. Especially when Drew's up with me."

"I always fall on the ice outside of my house." Lucky said

"Are you sure it was only glass? No offence but it seems a little worse than glass."

"I'm pretty sure it was just glass, but I'm not completely sure." Lucky said

"What do you mean not completely sure?"

"I don't even know." Lucky said

"You sure? I'd hate it if something bad had happened to you."

"I'm sure." Lucky said

"As long as you're sure" Julia started "at least you are sure..." Julia looked uneasy.

"You don't look so good." Lucky said
