Enough is Enough

"Now?" Randy said with a slight raise of an eyebrow.

Courtney just nodded as she got in the driver's seat of the car and started beeping the horn.

Randy grabbed his wallet and phone. He was in no rush to get out of the house. Not that he was against the idea but because he didn't understand why it had to be now. He put his phone in his jeans after grabbing a jacket and putting on his shoes. He then walked outside and got into the driver's seat of the car.

"Nice to see you finally arrive." Courtney said as she looked out the window.

Randy didn't say anything, just put his seat belt on.

Courtney crossed her arms then leaned back against the seat.

Randy started up the car and began to drive.

Courtney looked at the radio then turned it on before she flipped through stations.

Randy continued to drive, pulling up to the place twenty minutes later. He parked the car and got out.

Courtney took a deep breath before she got out of the car and walked into the building. This was going to be a long day, she was pretty sure of it.

Randy stuffed his hands into his pockets and followed behind Courtney inside.

Courtney walked up to the front desk then took the lady there she and Randy had an appointment. When they were told to wait Courtney nodded then sat down on a chair.

Randy sat down in one of the chairs as well and took out his phone, going through it as he waited for them to be called.

A few minutes later Courtney looked up when she heard their names then stood up and walked into the room.

Randy walked behind Courtney and took a seat on the couch once they finally got inside.

"Hello Randy and Courtney, I'm Doctor Andrews. I hear you're having some marital issues."

"He decided to be a moody asshole after an incident at our house." Courtney said.

"What was the incident?"

"First of all, I'm not going to sit here if you're going to call me names. It's not just about the incident, these problems between us have been building for awhile. So, if you're going to insult me and put the blame on me, I can leave." Randy said.

Doctor Andrews nodded.

"Yes, Courtney please refrain from insulting Randy during the session."

Courtney nodded.

"I'm sorry." Courtney said.

"Now tell me more about this incident, what happened?"

"This guy Courtney used to date, recently kissed, and worked with keeps showing up at our door. Got tired of him coming around." Randy shrugged.

"You almost kicked his ass, you can't just kick a person's ass because they're pissing you off." Courtney said.

Randy rolled his eyes. "Like you haven't for lesser reasons. The guy was harassing you, on my property, and causing issues."

"So you grab him and run the chance of being sued? That would solve anything?" Courtney asked.

"Although causing another human being bodily harm is not the way to solve a situation like this I can kind of see where Randy is coming from. The other man was harassing you and he was just trying to defend your honor and make him go away."

"And I appreciate that but again Randy could get sued over it and I'd rather not have that happen." Courtney said.

"Like I said, he was getting to me. I had let it go long enough. And he could've tried to sue me, wouldn't have won. He was on my property and harassing you when he's been constantly told to stop. He's a nuisance so at the time, I wanted to handle it the way I saw fit." Randy said.

"Fine, fair enough but why did you have to turn your anger around on me after that then? What the hell did I do?" Courtney said.

"You know how I get when I'm angry. Why my reaction was a surprise to you, I have no idea." Randy replied.
