Is It Worth It? (Phil)

”You sure you want that?”

She sighed, "No."

”Good, so what are you going to do? You're proving the childish theory by asking me how to grow up honestly.”

"Isn't everyone really a child at heart?"

"Sometimes, but they know when to put their big person pants when the time is right." Phil said.

"When I was with my kids, I had responsibilities other than taking care of myself."

"Well you need to act like that at all times now."

"Well how am I supposed to keep my mind occupied if I don't have anything to worry about but myself? Maybe I should get a dog."

"Do what you need to do I guess." Phil shrugged.

Lucky sighed, "I hate the entire human race." she groaned

"Ouch. Poor innocent bystanders."

"As far as I'm concerned, there is no such thing as innocence. No one is completely innocent anymore."

"You sure about that?" Phil asked.

"Maybe nuns, they have to be innocent." She said

"I still do not believe with your theories Lucky. Not everyone is a douche bag." Phil said.

"Not to you, maybe, because you're a hell of a lot stronger mentally than I am."

"That may be true, but are you getting any help?"

"I'm seeing a therapist, but he's just trying to blame all of my problems on Heath." Lucky said

"That could be a possibility Lucky..." Phil said.

"I just don't understand.."

"Well I'm not a therapist." Phil said with a shrug.

Lucky shook her head, "Life is confusing."

"Isn't it?"

"Mhmm." She nodded, "How do you put up with people? Like seriously, how have you not murdered anyone yet?"

"I realize that everyone around me is stupid and not worth my time. I avoid drama as much as possible. That's why I don't have a girlfriend." Phil said.
