A Good Drink (Anyone)

It was one in the morning as Courtney sat on the stool in the club. She couldn't sleep anymore after the events that took place with her father. Between him trying to kill her to him shooting Randy was really taking a toll on her. She looked at her bag and pulled out the pills her therapist recommended for her to take. Courtney just dropped them back into her bag without opening them then ordered a beer. She looked over when she noticed someone sitting down next to her.

Riley was sitting at the bar thinking about everything that had been going wrong with her when she noticed that Courtney was next to her.

"Hey Courtney." She said

Courtney looked over at Riley.

"Hey." Courtney said.

"I thought that you would be at home with Randy. What's wrong?" She asked

"Nothing. I just can't sleep." Courtney muttered.

"You and me both. I didnt want to go home just in case I woke you guys up." She says

Courtney nodded as she just looked down at the bar then grabbed her beer and took a sip of it.

"Courtney you can talk to me. I promise I wont tell anyone." She says

"Ever since my dad shot Randy I haven't been able to sleep so I went to a therapist to see if I talked about it I might be able to go to sleep but it hasn't helped. Then he put me on some stupid pills that I don't even need, he thinks I'm depressed. I'm not depressed." Courtney said before she took a large sip of beer.

"What kind of pills did they put you on?" She asked

"Antidepressants. I'm not taking them, I don't need them." Courtney muttered.

"I know cause they have me on the same thing and I dont take them." She said showing Courtney her pills

"Stupid therapist doesn't know what he's talking about. Just because I have most of the symptoms doesn't mean I'm depressed." Courtney said as she finished her beer then ordered another one.

"I know Courtney they are so crazy thinking that we could be depressed when we're not." She says drinking her water

"They're idiots, nothing but idiots. And now Randy's worried and I don't know why. I'm fine." Courtney said.

"Randy worries about everything. Elle and I both know that. He just worries because he cares so much." She said

"Yeah well he doesn't need to worry." Courtney muttered then moved toward the side a little feeling a little dizzy.

"Courtney are you feeling ok?" Riley asked concerned about her

"I'm fine." Courtney said as she took another sip of beer.

Riley nodded at her as she took a sip of her drink

Courtney finished her second beer then ordered another one.

"What's...been up with you?" Courtney asked.

"Nothing... Just trying to figure out the best way to tell Randy,Ted, Cody and Matt that Evan is going to train me to do highflying moves." She says "And missing my friend."

Courtney nodded.

"Evan's really talented, you're going to learn a lot. You should go see your friend if you miss your friend." Courtney said.

"I was talking about you Courtney." She said

"Oh...my brain's not working at the moment." Courtney said with a small chuckle.
