Good News (John/Elle)

Elle sits on the couch, waiting for John to come. She was excited and couldn't wait to tell him the news she had.

Hearing his car pull up to the house, Elle jumps up and rushes to the door. Seeing him get out of the car she runs up to him and jumps on him.

"Hey babe." She says, wrapping her legs and arms around him.

John drops everything and catches her

"Hey yourself."

Elle leans down and kisses him.

"I missed you." She says.

He kisses her back

"I've missed you too."

"I have some good news for you." Elle says, smiling.

"Really? What?"

"I'm pregnant." Elle says.

John smiles wide as he starts spinning her around

"Yeah...can you not do that, I tend to puke at a lot of movement." Elle says.

"Oh sorry." He says putting her down quickly

Elle nods her head.

"So, I'm guessing you're happy about this." She says.

"Yes I am." He says

"Good, I wasn't too sure how you would react since we didn't exactly plan this."

John shruggs

"What's with the shrug?" She asks.

"So what if we didnt plan it."

"I just didn't know how you feel about a baby right now. You and I are always gone." She says.

"I'm happy baby. Plus you should try and take sometime off so you can rest and spend time with Matthew."

Elle sighs.

"I guess you're right, I can't be doing all that traveling if I'm pregnant." She says.

John nodded

"I'll take sometime off too."

Elle shakes her head.

"You can't keep taking all this time off, I'll be fine." Elle says.

"Baby I want to take this time off, but if you want me to work I will."

"It's not that I don't want you around, but you're always taking time off. I don't want you to get fired from your job." Elle says.

"I know you dont, but remember I'm the poster boy

"Right, but you won't be it for long if you keep getting out of work." Elle says.
