What A Surprise!

"What's going on?" Jane asks as Evan walk with her and Eric.

"Don't as any questions, cause I won't tell you." Evan says, leading them into a restaurant.

"You didn't have to take us to dinner, I could've cooked." Jane says.

"Yeah, we said we didn't want to do anything too special tonight." Eric says.

"Well it's too late for that." Evan says, leading them to the private area he had reserved for their anniversary.

Riley was sitting at the table with Matthew and Destiny. She had just gotten back from off the road with Brittiany and she was tired.

"Mommy, Matthew wont stop picking on me." Destiny says

"Matthew Randal Anthony leave your sister alone." Riley says

Matthew nodded before glaring at Destiny

"What's going on?" Eric asks.

"Wanted to do something nice for you two's anniversary." Evan replies. "Yes, it's a few days early but I got to leave in a couple days."

"Aw, thank you." Jane says, smiling when she sees the kids and Riley. "Hey."

Riley smiled and waved at them

"Papa!" Destiny yelled running to him

"Grammie." Matthew says

"Hey sweetie." Eric says, picking up Destiny.

"Hey honey." Jane says hugging Matthew.

Destiny hugged him back


Matthew hugged her back


Riley sat there and watch

"Well this is a very nice surprise." Eric says.

"It is." Jane says, nodding her head.

Evan smiles.

Riley smiles a bit

"How have you been Riley?" Jane asks.

"Good. Just really tired lately."

"Maybe you should go home and get some rest." Eric says.

"I couldnt leave the kids here. They are wanting to show off tonight."

"You could, especially if you're tired." Jane says.

"I'm fine really."

"You sure?" Jane asks.

"Yeah."

Jane nods her head.

Riley nodded back

"Daddy, mommy doesnt look so good." Matthew whispered

"I know." Evan replies.

"What are we going to do?" He asked

"I guess get her home." Evan says.

Riley looks over at Evan and Matthew


"I say we watch her."

Evan nods his head.

Matthew nodded back

"Are you two going to sit?" Destiny asked

"Yeah." Evan says, sitting down next to his parents.
