Unexpected surprise (Rai/ Jeff)

Rai sat in the waiting room waiting on Jeff and to be called back. She looked down at her stomach that wasn't as flat as it used to be. She smiled.

Jeff walked in then sat down.

She looked at him. "Hey!" She kissed his cheek.

"Hey." Jeff said.

Rai started tap her foot. "Ms. Bautista?" Rai got up and headed towards the back.

Jeff stood up and followed Rai.

The nurse led her into a room. Rai sat on the examination table. The nurse smiled. "The doctor will be here soon." Rai nodded. The nurse smiled again then left. Rai looked around the room.

Jeff sat down on a chair.

Rai looked at him with a smile. "Feel like I haven't seen you in days."

Jeff nodded.

"What's on your mind Jeff?" Rai asked with her head cocked to the side. He had been a little distant lately.

"Nothing. Why?" Jeff asked.

Rai shrugged. "Seem a little distant." Rai said as she looked at her feet.

"How so?" Jeff asked.

"You just seem like you got alot on your mind everytime I see you." Rai explained as she looked up at him.

Jeff nodded.

The doctor came in. "Hell Ms. Bautista how are you feeling today?" "Much better now that the morning sickness is gone."

Jeff moved closer to Rai's chair as he waited for the ultrasound to begin.

Rai leaned back and lifted her shirt. The doctor put the gel on. "That's cold." Rai said with a gasp. The doctor laughed. "Alright let's see if we can hear the heart beat." Rai smiled when she heard the heartbeat fill the room. "Wow."

Jeff smiled widely.

The doctor raised a brow. "That's interesting." "What?" "Multiple heartbeats." Rai looked at the doctor in shock.

"Huh?" Jeff asked.

"Your having more than one child." The doctor responded as she turned the machine on to look at the baby.

Jeff fainted.

Rai looked down at him. "Jeff?" The doctor laughed. "First time parents?" Rai nodded. "Jeffy?"
