I'm Having What?! (Elle/John)

Elle rests her head on John's shoulder as they wait to be called into the doctor's office. After trying for a few weeks and taking a dozen pregnancy tests, Elle found out that she was pregnant again. Today was their first appointment and she was excited to figure out what they were having and if they baby was healthy....especially because Elle was starting to show so early in the pregnancy.

"I really need to learn patience." Elle says.

John smiles kissing her on the forehead

"Everything is going to be fine babe."

"You keep saying that but you aren't the one puking three times a day." Elle replies.

"True...But I am the one who is helping you threw this time."

"If I ever get pregnant again, you're carrying the baby in your stomach for nin months." Elle says.

"Good luck with that sweetie."

"I don't need luck, I'm going to find a way to make it happen." She says.

John smiles shaking his head

Elle kisses him on the cheek before getting up when her name was called.

John gets up with her

Elle grabs his hand and follows the nurse into the room.

John holds onto her hand following her and the nurse back

Elle gets into the room and sits down at the examine table.

"The doctor should be here in a few minutes." The nurse says before leaving the room closing the door behind her.

John nodded sitting down in the chair across the room

"You are way too far away from me." Elle says.

John gets up and walks over to her

"Better?"

Elle nods her head.

"Much better." She replies.

John smiles kissing her on the forehead before grabbing her hand

Elle rubs her thumb across his knuckles as she lays her head on his chest.

John holds her close to him as the door opens

Elle pulls away from John when the doctor comes in.

"Hello Elle." He says, smiling at her.

Elle smiles back.

He nods his head at John before turning back to Elle.

"Come with me for a moment, you know the routine." He says.

"Yeah, I know." Elle says, getting off of the table and kissing John on the cheek before following the doctor out of the room.

John sat back down on the chair and waited for her to come back

Fifteen Minutes Later

Elle comes back into the room and lays on the table.

Elle waves for John to come over as the doctor gets the ultra sound ready.

John gets back up and walks over to her grabbing her hand

Elle lifts up her shirt with her other hand as the doctor puts some gel on her stomach and starts the ultra sound.

Elle looks around as he moves it around for a bit.

"It looks like you're having a boy." He says.

Elle smiles widely.

"Wait, hold on a second." He says, moving it around some more.
