Letting It All Out (John/Elle)

Elle sighed as she walked up to the therapists office. She honestly didn't want to be there, regardless of the fact the she knew she had a problem and that maybe she did need help. She just didn't want to open up about everything that happened over her life, even though it's been terrorizing her for years now.

But most of all she didn't want John to see her that way. Which is why she pushed him away at the hospital and had spent the last three days in the psychiatric ward alone and without him.

She had invited him to come when they discussed it the day of the incident but wasn't too sure if he'd show up, but she saw a familiar car in the parking lot and knew he was here.

Walking inside, she spotted John and arms instantly wrapped around herself before taking a seat across from him.

John watched Elle as she sat down.

"Hey." John said.

"Hey." Elle said softly.

"How have you been?" John asked.

"Okay. You?" Elle replied.

"Okay. I've missed you." John said.

"Why? I've been a total bitch to you." Elle said.

"I still love you." John said.

Elle nodded, looking down.

"I'm always here for you no matter what." John said.

"I know..." Elle muttered.

"You always come first." John said.

"I really shouldn't." Elle said.

"But you are." John said.

Elle nodded.

John leaned back.

Elle got up when her name was called.

John stood up with Elle.

Elle walked into the room.

John followed.

Elle sat down on the couch in the room.

John sat next to Elle.

The therapist walked in and sat across from them.

"I'm Tiffany and you must Eleanor." She said.

"Call me Elle." Elle said.

"And you are?" Tiffany asked, looking at John.

"John." John said.

"My husband." Elle added.

"Ah, well I'm glad you're here." Tiffany said. "So, from your file I see that you were just released from the being in the hospital for the last few days after being on suicide watch."

"Yes, which was completely unnecessary." Elle muttered.

"You swallowed a lethal amount of sleeping pills and could've possibly drowned in a bathtub." Tiffany said. "Doesn't sound unnecessary at all."
