I'm Sorry? (Randy/Allie)

Allie walked out of her room and down the staircase, in search for her father. She knew that in the year 2010, she had given him hell and high waters with all of her fighting, and yelling, and dealing with her past problems. One of her New Years Resolutions were to try and connect with Randy. But before she did that, she knew she had to apologize.

She found Randy in the living room on the couch watching the television. She plopped down next to him and smiled. "Hi Daddy."

"Hey." Randy said, turning down the volume on the television and turning his attention to her. "What's up?"

"Oh nothing, I just decided to come sit with you, ya' know?"

"Sounds good to me, haven't spent time with you in awhile." Randy said.

''Yeah, I know." she said.

"So, what's going on with you?" Randy asked.

"Not much. School, Jason, eat, sleep, survive. All that jazz." Allie said. "What about you?"

"Wait, wait. Before we get to me. Whose Jason? And how are you doing in school?" He asked.

"I'm doing good in school, and Jason is my boyfriend of three and a half months." Allie said. "I thought I told you already. Or maybe Courtney? I don't know, but if I didn't tell you I'm sorry." she said.

"Good as in passing?" He questioned. "No, I didn't know about this boyfriend about yours. Three months? Tell me a bit about him."

"Yup! All A's and a B. I call that passing." Allie said with a proud grin.

"Oh, sorry I didn't tell you. I thought I did, oh well. Jason...well I met him at one of Izzy's hockey tournaments. He's sixteen, a junior, but it's a long distance thing. He lives in Michigan, and I see him whenever his dad comes here for a weekend for work or when I'm with Izzy." Allie said. "I really like him, and he's not a douchebag, so that's a plus." she said with a bright smile.

"That's great, congrats. I'm glad you're doing so well at school." Randy said with a smile.

Randy nodded at what she had said. "Hm, well he seems like a good kid from what you've told me. I'm glad he's treating you well and you seem to like him. I trust your judgement, so I believe you're making the right decisions when it comes to him."

"I am, and thank you for trusting my judgment. I really appreciate it." Allie said with a smile.

"So anyways, enough about me, what about you?" she asked.

"You know me, seriously. Just a lot of work, you know I lost the belt. I've been home a lot more cause my neck is a little stiff and have been doing some physical therapy a bit, healing a bit well. But other than that, I've just been around here or on the road." He replied.

"Oh yeah, sorry about your neck." Allie said.

"It's fine. Comes with the business." Randy said.

"Yeah." Allie said. She thought of a moment, "Would you think I was crazy if I said I wanted to be in the business?"

"No, it does run in the family." Randy said,

"Good." Allie said with a smile." 'Cause I'm going to start training after college."

"That's great. But I'm glad you're going to go to school first." He said.

"Of course! I need something to fall back on if it doesn't work out." Allie said.

"That's the best way to do it, I didn't see things that way. But I'm glad you were smart enough to." He said.

"But you're going great, one of the top superstars. So I guess that future worked out." Allie said.

"I got lucky, I really did." Randy said.

Allie nodded. "You sure did."
