Surprise Visit (Courtney)

"It's nice to know I'm missed when I'm not home." Courtney said with a soft smile. "And I can't wait to hear about everything, hopefully they haven't caused too much trouble."

"No...well, not more than normally. They haven't been too bad, they're kids, nothing I or my parents can't handle." Randy said, kissing the top of her head.

(THANK YOU! It was greeeat, I had a wonderful time. Glad to be home. )

"Well that's good, finally they've learned how to somewhat behave when mommy and daddy aren't home." Courtney said with a chuckle.

"I think they got tired of being punished or they're just holding it all in to release on us when we get home." Randy commented.

"Probably a mixture of the two, no kid likes to get punished but our kids do enjoy causing trouble." Courtney said. "Unless of course they smell your mom's pie, they become wrapped around her pinkie the second they get a whiff of it."

"I was with you until you said the latter and I am definitely starting to think my mom has more to do with the good behavior more than anything." Randy said with a deep laugh.

"Wouldn't surprise me if that were true. I seriously need to get that recipe but I'm pretty sure I'd have to give up an arm, leg, and maybe a kidney." Courtney joked.

"I doubt you'd have to give up that much. My mother adores you, she'd probably hand it over easily." Randy said.

Courtney rose an eyebrow as she looked at Randy.

"You really think your mom is going to just hand me over her famous pie recipe without a second thought?" Courtney asked.

"For you? Yes, you're the mother of her grandchildren and someone has to carry on the wonderful recipe someday." Randy stated.

"True, I didn't really think of it that way." Courtney said. "I'll have big shoes to fill though with that pie...watch me fuck it up."

"Don't even talk like that, Courtney. You're an amazing cook. I'm sure you'll master my mom's recipe. Hell, I bet you'll add you're own touch to it to make it even better." Randy encouragingly said.

Courtney smiled then moved her head to a pillow so she could look into Randy's eyes.

"Well if you have that much confidence in me I don't think I have anything to worry about." Courtney said.

"I have confidence in you in everything you do. Whether that is baking a pie or getting up on stage to perform. I'm your biggest supporter, you know this." Randy sincerely said.

Courtney kissed Randy on the cheek before wrapping her arms around him tightly.

"I love you so much. Sometimes my actions may prove otherwise, you know when I go crazy over little stupid things, but I do. You're the greatest husband in the world and I'm so blessed to have you in my life." Courtney said.

"I love you so much too, babe. Crazy times and all, I accept and love you for who you are. You're all I could ever want or ask for in a woman. You're perfect." Randy said.

She felt tears in her eyes as she listened to Randy, it wasn't because she was sad though. Courtney was just really happy. To come from such a shitty background and end up with what seemed to be the perfect life...nothing could get better than this.

"I think we both lucked out, who knows where we'd be if we never met." Courtney said.

Randy at first thought he had said something wrong to make Courtney cry. Seeing the tears in his eyes, his hand raised to wipe beneath him. Hearing what she said, confirmed that he didn't do anything wrong.

"Don't cry...you make me think I fucked up or something." Randy joked, letting out a small laugh. "I don't even want to think of a life or a world where you're not in it, Court."

Courtney chuckled, looking up when Randy started wiping her tears away. "Sorry." She said before offering him a smile. Sometimes she was a little too emotional for her own good.

"Luckily for us, I don't think we'll ever have to. I love you too much to let you go."

"For someone as tiny as you, you have a tight grasp. So I have no worries about you ever letting me go." Randy said.

"As long as you're still able to breathe you'll be alright." Courtney said, grinning before pecking Randy on the cheek.

"Remember that when you're giving me a vice grip hug." Randy teased, pressing his lips to the top of her head before his hand moved to begin to run through her hair.

Courtney laughed.

"You say that, but I bet you can't name one time where you've either come close to or have passed out from one of my hugs." Courtney said.

"Good point, but there's a first time for everything. Let's just hope it doesn't ever go there." Randy laughed.

"I hope it doesn't. Can you imagine me calling 911 and trying to explain that I made you pass out from a hug?" Courtney asked, chuckling a bit as she shook her head.
