"Yes, because I had no intentions of hurting her. But to get something straight, before we broke up, she had done her fair share of hurting me."

"You still didn't follow through with your promise so it was a lie and don't bring that bullshit into this house. Allie may not be perfect but that does not excuse your actions." Courtney said, raising her voice a bit.
Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
"Just like how you arguing with a 17 year old is inexcusable. It's ridiculous and childish. I did not come here to be patronized. I'm not a dumbass. And a broken promise isn't a lie, it's a broken promise. No matter how much it seems like it's a lie. A lie is done intentionally to cover up or to deceive. A broken promise usually isn't intentional."

Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
Allie took a drink of water as Courtney and Jason went back and forth. It was giving her a headache, why did she expect this to be a nice dinner? And with Jason disrespecting Courtney, she couldn't help but get heated. Seriously, how dare he? Just before she was going to say something, Jason beat her too it. Allie's eyes widened and she choked on her water. Is he really doing this?
Allie finally recuperated before glaring at Jason, "First of all, you don't curse at my mother. Second, you don't disrespect her ESPECIALLY around me. If you were going to be an a-hole to my MOM, I wouldn't have even invited you. You're lucky my dad isn't here at the moment! And you did lie to me! You said that you loved me and you didn't! That's why we broke up, because you are a fucking liar! And right now, I hate you! You know I don't really trust a lot of people and you hurt me anyways! I fucking hate you!"
By the time she finished yelling, tears were falling rapidly down her cheeks. Why did she even bother? They weren't going to get back together, she was too hurt. In just an hour, she fell too hard, too fast, and now her heart was broken once again by the same guy.
Allie gulped a little and stood up from the table and avoided eye contact from the others, "Excuse me." She said softly before walking out of the dining room and upstairs to her bedroom.

Courtney looked watched Allie as she spoke and she couldn't help but be proud that she was able to defend herself as well as her family. Her heart broke though when she saw tears start to run down her daughter's cheeks. When Allie ran upstairs Courtney glared at Jason and stood up from her seat.
"Get the fuck out of my house right now." She demanded before she went after Allie.

Allie walked into her room, slammed the door shut, and took her shoes off before throwing herself on her bed, letting all of tears come out. She was mad at herself for making herself think that maybe Jason had changed and was ready for her. Guess not...she gave up. Allie was ready to give up. She was done with being hurt everywhere she turned. She was actually surprised that she was actually sane at the moment.
Allie quieted her sobbing when she seen Courtney walk into her room before burying her head into her pillow.

"Thanks for dinner." He sneered before getting his coat, he slammed the front door on his way out. He could barely put the keys into his ignition because he was so rage filled. He finally started the car and drove away angrily.

Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
Courtney sighed softly when she saw Allie in the heartbroken state she was in. She walked over to Allie then sat on the edge of the bed and gently rubbed her back.
"Shh, calm down sweetie." Courtney said.
"Shh, calm down sweetie." Courtney said.
Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
Courtney sighed then pulled Allie up and into a hug. She gently rubbed her back and didn't say anything. Courtney knew how Allie felt, she had her heart broken before as well, but it was always harder to have your heart torn apart by your first love. Sometimes just being there in a time of comfort was all that was needed.
Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
Allie leaned into Courtney, crying into her shoulder. She started to relax a little, knowing that she was being comforted by someone who actually cared for. "Why did I even bother?" Allie asked.
Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
"It's hard to let your first love go so easily." Courtney said, hugging Allie a bit tighter.
"It's going to be okay though. Alright? There are plenty of fish in the sea who will treat you the way you should and deserve to be treated."

"I'm just angry with myself for actually thinking that we would work." Allie said.
Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
"At least you tried. He's an asshole who seems to want to put the blame mostly on other people rather than himself." Courtney said.
Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
"But I can't help but feel like crap. It makes me feel like its all my fault." Allie said.
Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
"It's not Allie. Stop thinking it is because it's not. You can't allow anyone, especially a man let you think it's your fault when they do something wrong." Courtney said.
Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
Allie nodded at Courtney's words and started to calm down. "I'm sorry for inviting him over. I never thought that he would disrespect you."
Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
Courtney shook her head as she gently stroked Allie's hair.
"Don't worry about me, I take care of myself. I've heard worse directed towards me than what he said." Courtney said with a small chuckle.

Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
"I agree. If your dad was here Jason would have gotten a verbal assault." Courtney joked.
Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
"I would have been terrified if Daddy was here. All hell would have broken loose in this house." Allie said.
Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
"I agree, it would have been a whole lot worse than it was. When it comes to family your dad is very protective." Courtney said.
Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
Courtney nodded then pulled away from Allie and looked at her.
"You want to go downstairs, finish dinner, then have ice cream?" Courtney asked.

Re: Dinner With Mr. Ferguson.
Allie sniffled lightly before wiping her eyes and nodding, "Yeah, I need ice cream at the moment."
