A Night In (Anyone)

Ryan was up bored out of his mind. He had met quite of bit of people in the business so he strolled through his phone and decided who he’d invite over. It was late so it had to be someone he knew was up and would be willing to hangout. He walked into his hotel room with sushi and some DVD’s. He found a name that was familiar and thought it’d be a good idea for her to come over. He texted: “Sushi plus movies plus Ryan equals a good time in room 318” he sent the message and waiting for either a response or a knock on the door.

(Anyone. Doesn't have to be someone he rp'd with. They could've had an unspoken run-in. Either way is cool)

Macy lightly knocked on Ryan's door. She needed to make a phone call back home and her room phone wasn't working, neither was her cell phone. She hoped that she wasn't bothering anybody but it was really important.

Ryan opened the door and smiled at Marcia "Uh... Hey" he replied

"Hello, I'm sorry to be a bother." Macy said with a sheepish grin. "May I use your phone? My cell phone is crap and my room phone is too.."

"Oh, sure go ahead" he said letting her in "It's one by the TV and if you need privacy another in the bedroom"

"Oh, no privacy. I just need to check on my kids." She said walking in. "Thank you, erm..." She trailed off, not knowing his name.

"Oh Ryan" he said putting a hand forward

Macy smiled and shook his hand, "Marcia, or Macy. Whichever."

"Nice to meet you Macy"

"Likewise Ryan." She smiled.

"Are you just saying that because I'm letting you use my phone?" he joked

Marcia chuckled, "Yes." She joked.

"See, I'm good at reading women" he nodded

Macy shook her head and sat on the bed next to the phone, "Sure.."

Ryan nodded as he let her have her conversation, while kneeled near the TV as he was deciding what movie he was going to watch

Macy finished the conversation with Mike's parents and her children a few minutes later and stood up with a smile. She walked over to Ryan, "Thank you again Ryan, I really appreciate it."

"No problem, anytime"

"So...what are you watching?" Macy asked.

"I can't decide between Horrible Bosses or Life As We Know It" he answered

"Life as we know it is a great movie."

"Its not a chick flick is it?"

"A little bit, but I never heard of Horrible Bosses." She shrugged, "I'm not really much of a help."

"I heard it was funny, so that's why I rented it"

"Well it is funny." She said, "I think its a good movie, you should check it out."

"Life as we know it, it is then"
