Homesick (Carmen)

Izzy was getting homesick, even though she wasn't too far away from home. She didn't feel as if she was welcome there, though. Izzy sighed, she picked up her phone and called Carmen, she waited as the phone rang.

Carmen had been having a quiet night in with Adam. Well, she was until he got called into work. She had really been missing Izzy. Her phone starting ringing.

"Hello?"

"Carmen?" Izzy asked, "Can I come home?" she cried

"Izzy? Baby of course you can! No one's stopping you!"

"I felt like Daddy didn't want me. I'm sorry." She sobbed

"Well he's not home right now...he got called out."

"Is he still mad?"

"No, he misses you Izzy."

"C-can you come pick me up? I don't wanna walk home."

"Where are you?" Carmen asked getting off the sofa

"I'm still at Jay's place."

"OK, I'll be there as quickly as I can."

"Thank you so much, Carmen."

"Anytime sweetie."

Izzy hung up and started to get her things together.

Carmen got into her car and began driving to Jay's place.

Once Izzy finished packing up her stuff, she waited on the front porch.

Carmen pulled up outside and opened the passenger door.

Izzy ran to the car and threw her stuff in the back before getting in the passenger side and hugging Carmen.

Carmen hugged Izzy back.
"Oh sweetie."

Izzy cried, "I missed you."

"I missed you too...it's been so quiet without you."

"That's probab;y a good thing." She laughed a little through her tears.

"God no! I hate the quiet!"

"It'll be much louder soon, I promise you that."
