"She is and thank you." Courtney said.

Courtney reached over then gently rubbed her finger against Kayla's cheek. She heard Randy's cell phone ring then looked at him.

Randy turns it off before turning back to Courtney and Kayla.

Courtney nodded then lied down and fell asleep.

An hour later Courtney woke up startled when she heard a bunch of beeping then watched the doctors take Kayla out of the room.

"Where are you going with my baby?" Courtney asked as she got up and tried to run after them but the nurse stopped.

"She stopped breathing but she'll be okay, you have to stay here."

"No! I want to be with Kayla!" Courtney yelled.

Courtney just stood there with tears rolling down her cheeks before she started walking back to her bed.

"This isn't fair, why can't she just be okay?" Courtney asked.

Courtney looked over when the doctor came in.

"We got Kayla to start breathing again but we're going to keep her down in ICU so we can easily monitor her."

Courtney nodded.

"Can we see her?" Courtney asked.

"Follow me." the doctor said as she walked out of the room.

Courtney walked then when they were at ICU Courtney looked in through the window and felt a tear roll down her cheek as she looked at Kayla.

Randy wraps his arm around her shoulder.

Courtney gulped as she hugged Randy. She looked at the doctor.

"Can we go in?" Courtney asked.

The doctor nodded.

Courtney opened the door then walked in and grabbed a chair before she sat down next to Kayla's incubator.
